ARTIFACT: This is rare 1910's - 1920's US Department of Agriculture Forest Service Forest Guard badge. It has a maker mark for Meyer & Wenthe of Chicago on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s - 1920s.

SIZE: Appr: 1-5/8" x 1-5/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated Nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with locking drop-in swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "FOREST GUARD U.S.F.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE MEYER & WENTHE CHICAGO"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Federal Law Enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJEX17 LDCEX7/17 SDCEX

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Light wear and tarnish on the reverse. The black filling in the lettering and the tree on the obverse is also worn off in places.
