ARTIFACT:
This is a rare 1900 United States Naval Academy at Annapolis "Lucky Bag" yearbook. The book is full of reflections in poetry, prose and illustrations, oftentimes with humor. The "Lucky Bag" was founded in 1894, making this book is Volume VII. It includes group photos of the Classes of 1900 through 1903, and the sole advertisement in the back of the book is for the Bethlehem Steel Company.

Circa 1900.
SIZE:
169 gilt-edged pages (plus 4 extra) with black-and-white photographs and illustrations; approximately 9-3/8" in height and 7-1/4" in width and 5/8" in thickness.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.
ATTACHMENT:
Glued (and tape repaired) binding.

CONDITION:
6 (Fine+): The book is well-worn, and some of the pages have been secured with tape into the binding. There are small spots of discoloration on a few of the pages, a small tear on the first blank page and moderate wear at either end of the cover's spine.
