ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1880's or 1890's United States Marine Corps enlisted man shako helmet button. The center of the button shows an eagle flying with an anchor clutched in its talons.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's - 1890's.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Hook, single screw post.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX13 LAGEX3/13 SAGEX08/30/24

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The button shows some light wear and moderate tarnishing.
