ARTIFACT:
Poignant, rare, early WWII Polish War Relief Poster by artist "W. T. Benda". The large, striking central image is that of a mother grasping a swaddled infant and a young child peering up over her shoulder from behind. In the sky overhead are war machines, above which read: "POLISH WAR RELIEF" and the base reads: "INASMUCH AS YE HAVE DONE IT UNTO ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE." Printed on heavy card stock, this smaller sized poster is in very fine condition and suitable for framing.
