ARTIFACT: This is a pair of World War I United States Army Quartermaster Corporal rank stripes. Each shows two chevrons above an eagle perched upon a wheel and a crossed key and sword. The photos above are of the front of each of the pair – the reverses are not pictured because there is an old price tag stapled through each pair that we did not want to disturb.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 5" in height and 3-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt on twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: EMPIRE PATENT price tag.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months LCDX5/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The stripes show very light wear and have only one speck of a spot where there is some wool worn away.
