ARTIFACT: This is a pair of distinctive insignia in sterling silver by Balfour for the United States Army Services of Supply. The DIs have a scarlet border and each show the head and wing of a white eagle in profile against a field of blue.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1" diameter (each).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches (each).

MARKINGS: BALFOUR STERLING (on each).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJL92 LFEX10/10 SFEX06/15/22

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent-): DIs have light wear only.
