ARTIFACT: This is an Order of the Crown of Romania, Grand Officer breast star (civil), 2nd Model dating from 1932. The Grand Officer's breast star is the second level out of the five classes of this award, The award is a beautifully enameled star bearing the initials of King Carol encircled by the words PRIN NO INSINE 14 MARTIE 1881 (By ourselves March 14 1881). There are some beautiful silver hallmarks on the pin.

VINTAGE: Circa 1932.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 2-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T-style pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: JOSEPH RESCH FILS BUCHAREST on reverse of badge; 7R7T3 Ð 38 ARG 837 and other mark on pin.
