ARTIFACT: This is an old circa 1930s Pennsylvania Department of Forestry guide badge. The badge reads PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY FOREST GUIDE PROTECTION PRODUCTION PERPETUATION PRODUCTS. The badge shows an oak leaf and a keystone, for the "Keystone State", at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: About 1" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Stud.

MARKINGS: WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Pennsylvania state agency collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RC/GEV94 LAAEX4/10 SLFEX2/14 SFEX3/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows very light wear and has a handsome patina.
