ARTIFACT: This is a numbered World War I Aircraft Industrial Service worker badge by Whitehead & Hoag. The pin reads AIRCRAFT INDUSTRIAL SERVICE US ARMY NAVY and shows a propeller at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilization post.

MARKINGS: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J. 174994.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has light wear and tarnish.
