ARTIFACT: This is a numbered early World War II Store Defense warden badge. The badge is enameled in red, white and blue stripes and shows a crest at center bearing three sheaves of wheat.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows light wear and some discoloration on the enamel, and a few minor cracks at corners.
