ARTIFACT: This is a nice World War II officer's badge for a graduate of the Polish School of Infantry and Motorized Cavalry in Scotland. The badge reads SZKOCJA (Scotland) at the top of a ring encircling a silver eagle. The backing is a nice period-made screwback using a 1938 British penny.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze and silver plated bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: Backing has the markings of a British penny.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows light wear and has a handsome tarnish.
