ARTIFACT: Nice, scarce, circa early 1950's Trans-Alaskan Airlines pilot's hat badge. The patch is embroidered in bullion and silk/polyester threads and depicts a light blue circle with a white mountain peak in the center and a bullion star in the sky, the circle shows nicely detailed wings on either side and above reads: "T. A. A".

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, silk thread, bullion

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX15 S/LBGEX10/15 SBGEX10/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, light soiling on silk thread, bullion shows light wear/tarnish, overall fine condition.
