ARTIFACT: Nice, salty WWII United States Navy Submarine Combat badge in sterling silver by AMICO. Badge depicts a submarine floating in the waves with three stars below, stars were soldered in place.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, solder

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: AMICO (partly covered by application of solder)

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine&emdash;Very Fine): Badge shows moderate wear, stars soldered separately, handsome patina.
