ARTIFACT:
This is a Korean War era mug for the United States Army 733rd Engineer Aviation Point Supply (EASP) Company. The mug was made in Japan by Arita. One side of the mug shows the winged sword insignia of SCARWAF (Special Category Army With Air Force), Army engineers assigned to the US Air Force. The other side shows a map of Korea, and the handle is shaped like a nude woman.
VINTAGE:
Circa Korean War era (early 1950s).
SIZE:
Approximately 4" in height and 5-1/4" across (including handle) and 3-1/4" in diameter (at base).
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
China.
