ARTIFACT: Nice, circa 1943 United States Army Air Forces Type 1 Flight Surgeon wing in gold-plated brass. The wing features a caduceus at its center and the reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "GEMSCO N.Y".

VINTAGE: Circa 1943

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" x 1-1/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: "GEMSCO N.Y."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRVBEJX TRAJJX13 LCIEX8/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The wing shows minor wear, light spots of patina, nearly all the gold-plated details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
