ARTIFACT: This is a Boston Police Patrolman badge, from the 1940's - 1950's. The breast badge is numbered 5072 on reverse.

This one looks like it spent some time on "The Mean Streets" of Boston!
It has been replated at some time in its period of use, and then saw a good amount of wear afterwards.
It has plenty of dings and bends, lots of character!

VINTAGE: Circa 1940's - 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" in height and 2-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated nickel plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: 5072

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBCL90 LBGEX01/19 SBGEX01/07/24

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light wear; minor oxidation to reverse only; was replated and had a catch replacement sometime during its use during the 1950's.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
