ARTIFACT: Nice 1930's ??? 1940's Getzville, New York fire department Foreman badge in gold-plated nickeled brass. The slightly convex center of the badge shows three fire horns in nice raised detail and surrounding them reads: "FOREMAN GETZVILLE, N.Y. F. D.". The shield shaped badge features an eagle perched at the top with spread wings and a bowed head.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's ??? 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" x 1-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated, nickeled brass, black painted details

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with 'C' catch

MARKINGS: N/A

ITEM NOTES: This is from a firefighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEM07 LADEX8/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear mostly to high points, light spots of verdigris, much of the black painted details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
