ARTIFACT: This is a great circa early 1900s Mills brand cartridge belt with interlocking "US" buckle and artillery markings inside. Anson Mills, the developer of the revolutionary woven belt, was a United States Army Civil War veteran.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1900s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/16" wide and 35" long.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Webbed cotton belt with copper buckle and hardware.

ATTACHMENT: Belt buckle.

MARKINGS: MADE BY MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO. WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A. (twice); 63401 with crossed rifles.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Minimal wear to belt and slight oxidation on buckle.
