ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s or 1930s Monmouth County, New Jersey deputy sheriff badge. The badge is numbered 400 and has the State of New Jersey seal at its center. Monmouth County is within the metro area of neighboring New York.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin, drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: 400 on front.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New Jersey police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX14 LABEX2/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light to medium wear and tarnish.
