ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful framed circa 1920s photograph of a biplane with the tail numbers NC704N: this particular craft was a Spartan C3-165. The photo is from Framingham, Massachusetts and was hand-tinted in soft pastel hues. The frame is nicely carved and has a Boston maker label on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 8" by 10".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Photograph, board backing, painted wood, twine hanger.

ATTACHMENT: Twine hanger on frame.
