ARTIFACT: This is an early World War II French pilot badge locally-made in North Africa. The badge shows an eagle against a wreath topped by a three-dimensional gold star.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: About 1-5/8" in height by 2" in width

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under "C" clasp.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows a fair amount of wear and tarnish.
