ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare World War II Special Force wing as worn by OSS (Office of Strategic Services) operators in the European Theatre of Operations (ETO). The wing has a red center bearing the letters SF and would have been worn as a shoulder patch. There is a related OSS grouping being sold separately (please see link at bottom of page for information).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt on wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Initials (?) written on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-LL-30-VAEJJX12 LBFEJX2/12 SBBDJX9/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some minor wear.
