ARTIFACT: Minty WWII Combat Infantry badge in sterling silver, originally worn by John Q. Seagroves of Apex, North Carolina. The badge is a blue painted rectangle that features a rifle in raised detail in the center and a wreath behind. The badge also came along with his dog tags, see link below.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted sterling

ATTACHMENT: Double posts with clutchbacks

MARKINGS: "STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEV16 LEEX4/16

CONDITION: 9 (Excellent—Near Mint): The badge shows minor wear, nearly all the painted details remain intact, overall minty condition.
