ARTIFACT: This is a minty Model 1895 United States Army 7th Cavalry, Troop G enlisted man collar insignia (this could also be a hat badge). G Troop served as part of the 2nd Squadron based at Camp Columbia, Cuba fr0m 1899 through 1902. The insignia is two crossed swords.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJX12 LABEX9/13 SABEX4/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia is minty.
