ARTIFACT: This is a minty Model 1895 United States Army 10th Cavalry, Troop G enlisted man collar insignia (this could also be a hat badge). G Troop was a "colored" cavalry regiment and in fought in come major battles. The insignia is two crossed swords.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJX12 LADEX9/13

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): The insignia is minty.
