ARTIFACT: Mid-1930's TWA Pilot hat badge of then First-Officer George Cole Toop. This is a Type I badge depicting an ornate feather-dressed Indian head, below reads: "TRANSCONTINENTAL WESTERN AIR INC."

VINTAGE: Circa Mid-1930's

SIZE: Approximately: 2-1/2" in width x 1-7/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Double screw posts with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEX14 LEGEX1/15 SEGEX02/11/24

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Badge shows minor wear, much of the gilt details remain intact.
