ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the Massachusetts Army National Guard Element, Joint Force Headquarters by Emblemcraft. The DI shows an arm bent at the elbow grasping a broadsword and reads ENSE PETIT PLACIDAM (by the sword she seeks peace). This motto is a partial version of the motto of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches.

MARKINGS: MADE IN U.S.A. E-25.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some very small specks of light wear only.
