ARTIFACT: This is a Lovely Battle Field Pickup World War I Prussian Field Trumpet by C.W.Moritz Berlin Dated 1915. Weight 1.02 OZ

VINTAGE: World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 110-1/4" in height x 5-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Rim: Bronze / Other Parts: Bras, Tomback,

ATTACHMENT: Loops.

MARKINGS: C.W. Moritz Berlin 1915

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI Prussian collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VABEM21 LCDEX12/04/21 SCDEX12/07/21

CONDITION: 5 (Fine): The trumpet shows moderate wear, patina, and a great overall look, but this bugle saw a lot of action, and was probably retrieved by a doughboy in the middle of No Man's Land after it had been dropped and possibly even trampled a bit. Still has a great look with little apologies, and it look like it would have quite a story to tell if it could talk...
