ARTIFACT: Lovely mid ??? late 19th century American Rockies oil on canvas. The painting is signed by "H.W Taylor" and features a beautiful mountain and river scene. It appears to have been period framed and is nicely detailed wood with painted finish.

VINTAGE: Circa Mid ??? late 19th C

SIZE: Approximately 15" x 10 ??" framed; Canvas: 13 1/8" x 8 1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oil, canvas, nails, screws, wood, wire, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Two nails anchor the canvas to the frame, with a wire for wall hanging.

MARKINGS: "H.W. TAYLOR" artist signature; "TURE FRAMES" paper residue from the once paper backing on reverse of the canvas.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Oil painting shows light age wear, frame and backing show moderate to heavy storage wear, much of the painted details on the frame remain intact, the canvas is in nice condition.
