ARTIFACT: This is a Later World War II United State Forces Purple Heart Medal. Slot Brooch, Unnamed.

VINTAGE: Circa Late WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 3" in height x 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold plated and enameled brass, silk.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal Pin with locking come-under catch.

MARKINGS: "FOR MILITARY MERIT"
