ARTIFACT: This is a patch for the United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Ingham WHEC-35 (HEC stands for High Endurance Cutter). The Ingham was launched at the Philadelphia Navy Yard on June 3, 1936. She was decommissioned on May 27, 1988. The patch reads PARATUS IN PAX ET BELLUM (ready in peace and war).

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Coast Guard collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX96 LAHX5/12 SAHX3/13

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The patch shows hardly any wear.
