ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 57th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, also known as The Black Knights of Keflavik". Based out of the US Naval Air Station Keflavik (NASKEF) in Iceland, the 57th flew F-4Cs starting in 1975, and later, F-4Es and F-106 Delta Darts. The patch shows a black knight's visor at center and has an embroidered banner that reads "ICELAND".

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/8" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
