ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1960's ground crew shirt breast patch for Allegheny Airlines, which operated out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1962 until 1979, when it changed its name to US Air. The patch is a blue oval embroidered in red and blue threads.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1960's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 3-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester/silk thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear, mostly along the edge.
