ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1950s United States Army Troop A, 3rd Reconnaissance Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment lighter. The lighter was made in Japan by Vulcan Import Company. It has an applied enameled insignia on the front and reads "Troop "A" 3rd Recon Sq. 4th Cav. Hawaiian Islands" on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width and 3/8" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Hinge.

MARKINGS: Vulcan Import Co. Vulcan Made in Japan.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a 1950s US Army lighter collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAGX14 LHEX4/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lighter has some abrasions on both sides; all enamel is intact.
