ARTIFACT: This is a late 1950s Japanese-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 81st Armored Regiment. The DI is a crest bearing a crossed weapon and a key and reads SUPERO OMNIA (I surpass everything).

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: JAPAN.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBDX5/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear.
