ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1940s locally German-made cigarette case for the United States Constabulary, a force made up of a few armored and cavalry divisions to keep the peace in post-War Germany. The case is made of painted white metal with a large decal in striking primary colors showing a C with a diagonal red lightning bolt.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/8" in length by 3-7/16" in width (when closed).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted white metal, decal.

ATTACHMENT: Hinge, button for opening.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a post-WWII US Army personal gear collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. Ebay MAHV14 LABEX5/14

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The case shows some small areas of light to moderate use; very little wear to decal.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
