ARTIFACT: This is a nice shoulder sleeve insignia from the longest continuously serving cavalry unit in the US Army - the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. French motto inscription: "Always Ready."

VINTAGE: Late 1940's.

SIZE: About 2 ½" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fine embroidery on silk/poly with cotton support on the back.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX97.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+) This shoulder patch has some minor creasing (gentle ironing might take care of this) but is generally in a very good condition.
