ARTIFACT: This is a badge from the 3rd Group of Moroccan Tabors. A Tabor is an assembly of 3 or 4 Goums, which are groups of Moroccan soldiers.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940's - early 1950's.

SIZE: About 1-3/8" in diameter (3.5cm).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Anodized aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: Safety-type pin with simple catch attached to the back.

MARKINGS: A. AUGIS - LYON, and 28. Mee ST BARTHELEMY.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-) This badge shows very minor wear and tarnishing and is in a generally great condition.
