ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1930s or World War II Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Special Patrolman badge, used for an officer protecting a factory or performing a similar duty. The badge is shield -'shaped with the number 523 at center.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s-World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/16" in height x 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin on bar, drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Pennsylvania police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX14 LAAEX6/14 SAAAX07/30/23

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has some areas of moderate wear and some light oxidation.
