ARTIFACT: This is a late 1930s – World War II badge for the French 62nd Combat Tank Battalion. The 62nd served in Morocco during World War II. The badge is a bull at the center of a green star. Ceci est un insigne pour le 62° Bataillon de Chars de Combat des années 1930 grâce à la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La 62e servi au Maroc durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. L'insigne est un taureau au centre d'une étoile verte.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s – World War II. Les années 1930 grâce à la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-5/8" in width. Environ 3.8 cm x 4.1 cm.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel. Laiton plaqué or, émail.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal safety-style pin with saddle. Diagonaux de sécurité de style broches avec selle.

MARKINGS: None. Rien.
