ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1930s Hermosa Beach, California police badge with the rank of Mayor. The badge is by Entenmann of Los Angeles, and is maker-marked on reverse. Its lettering is enameled in blue and white and there are four stars on a bar near the bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: ENTENMANN LOS ANGELES.
