ARTIFACT: This is a large, nice and clean World War II China-Burma-India (CBI) theatre US flight jacket back flag/chit. The chit shows an American flag printed on silk, with a linen backing. These were also sometimes carried in the pocket of flight clothing for potential use in an escape and evasion situation.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 12-7/8" in length and 8-1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed on silk, backed in linen.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The chit you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from a WWII USAAF personal gear collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJJX14 LBHEX8/14
