ARTIFACT: This is a great, large and mint World War II V for Victory pin studded with rhinestones. It may possibly have something to do with the US Army 442nd Regimental Combat Team, as it came with a 442nd RCT patch at an Albany, New York area thrift shop. The 442nd was a unit made up exclusively of first-generation Americans born to Japanese immigrants.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, rhinestones.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBXL14 LAAEX8/14 SAAEX11/15

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): The pin is minty.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
