ARTIFACT: This is a Large, But Damaged 1933 United States Marine Corps China Marines US Marine Cup 1st Place Shooting Award of Gunnery Sergeant T. J. Jones in Chinese Silver.

VINTAGE: 1933.

SIZE: Approximately: Silver Cup: 5" in height x 4-3/4" in width (Handle to Handle). Top: 2-3/16" in diameter / Bottom: 2-1/8" in diameter. Wooden Stand: Bottom 2-3/4" in diameter x 1-1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chinese Silver. Wood stand.

ATTACHMENT: Handle.

MARKINGS: Chinese Maker Mark and Silver Mark. 

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USMC collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. KBEV22 LDIEX04/22/25

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): The cup shows tarnish and repair on connection to the Cup & Rifle (shows on image), and overall, it is a nicely designed Shooting Award cup.
