ARTIFACT: This is a Large, Beautiful, 1940's California Department of Agriculture Plant Quarantine Officer Border Guard Badge by L.A. Stamp & Staty. 

VINTAGE: 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass and Gold-plated on Center with Hard-Fired blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: "L.A. STAMP & STATY. CO."

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, Catch Replaced late in period of use (1940's -1960's) Pin Possibly Replaced Also.
