ARTIFACT: Large, beautiful 1930's Humboldt County, California Special Deputy Sheriff Badge by LA Stamp and Stationery Co. The handsomely detailed badge reads: "HUMBOLDT COUNTY" in the center and surrounding it reads: "SPECIAL DEPUTY SHERIFF" in blackened lettering. The reverse shows a nice maker's mark that reads: "L.A. STAMP & STY. CO. L.A. CAL.".

VINTAGE: Circa second half, of the1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel and black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with open catch.

MARKINGS: "L.A. STAMP & STY. CO. L.A. CAL."

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the plating and painted details remain intact.
