ARTIFACT: Large 1920's - 30's Exeter, New Hampshire Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1 fire badge. The raised center of the badge features various firefighting instruments - a ladder, helmet, hook, etc. in embossed detail. Surrounding the center it reads: "HOOK & LADDER CO. No. 1 EXETER., N. H." and the very base of the badge reads: "E. F. D.". An eagle tops the badge with a black scroll flowing from its beak.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's - 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2" x 1".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel and blackened details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with 'C' type catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX15 LAAEX9/15 SAAEX02/20

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, much of the plating details remain intact.
