ARTIFACT: This is a Korean War era scarf for the United States Air Force 8th Fighter-Bomber Wing, which was assigned to the 5th Air Force and stationed at Itazuke Air Base in Japan. The scarf was made of embroidered pearl gray silk in Japan.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 14-/4" in width by 40-1/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VBJX00 LCDEX3/12

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The scarf has some scattered areas of light discoloration.
