ARTIFACT: This is a Korean War era Konwal lighter for the United States Navy USS Fechteler destroyer (DD-870). The front of the lighter has a robin's egg-blue medallion with the ship's coat of arms.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated, brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Hinge.

MARKINGS: KONWAL SUPER JAPAN 7.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a lighter collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay LFIX1/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The lighter shows some very small areas of light wear.
