ARTIFACT: This is a Japanese-made patch for the United States Navy's USS Medregal SS-480. The patch shows some fish surrounding an anchor on a chain and reads S.S. 480 U.S.S. MEDREGAL.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: 4-3/4" height and 5-1/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton with muslin backing.
